Nothing on this site is a promise, guarantee or projection of income. Read this before acting on anything you find here.
Where our numbers come from
We publish figures measured from our own operation — deals scored against real eBay sold prices, our own margins, and our own sales. We date them and we say how they were produced. When a number comes from someone else, such as a company’s own marketing claims, we say so and label it as unverified.
Those numbers describe what happened for us, in our categories, in our market, at that time. They are a record, not a forecast.
Why your results will differ
- Local inventory. Clearance stock varies enormously by store and region. A deal that exists in one town may never appear in yours.
- Competition. The number of other sellers listing the same item directly changes what you can sell and at what price.
- Capital. How much you can buy, and how long you can hold unsold stock, changes outcomes.
- Fees and shipping. Marketplace fees change. Shipping costs vary by weight, size and destination.
- Your experience and effort. This is an active business, not passive income.
Reselling involves real risk
You can lose money. Inventory can fail to sell, sell below cost, arrive damaged, or be returned. Many people lose money in their first year. Never buy inventory with money you cannot afford to lose, and never take on debt to source stock without understanding exactly how and when you intend to repay it.
Third-party services
Where we review paid tools, deal groups or funding services, we describe our own experience and measurements. We do not control those companies, their pricing, or your results with them. Some of those links are affiliate links, disclosed in our Affiliate Disclosure.
Not professional advice
Nothing here is financial, investment, tax, legal or accounting advice. Reselling has tax obligations. Consult a qualified professional about your own situation before making decisions.
